SMS Opt-In
PourLog sends text messages to people who give us their mobile number on pourlog.io or in the PourLog app. This page shows exactly how opt-in works. PourLog LLC.
How opt-in works
- A person enters their mobile number on the PourLog sign-up or login page (pourlog.io/signup) or in the PourLog app. Directly under the Continue button, in readable type, the screen shows the full SMS disclosure below, with links to the Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Consent is given by action: by entering their number and tapping Continue under that disclosure, the person agrees to receive texts from PourLog about their account (login codes, setup help and account updates). There is no pre-checked box and nothing is hidden. We then text a one-time login code.
- After the number is verified we send one short confirmation text that repeats STOP and HELP. We store the time, the exact disclosure text and its version, the language, whether it was the website or the app, and the IP address and device where available.

What we send
- One-time login codes when you sign in.
- Setup help and account updates (for example finishing company setup, inviting your first foreman, and notices about your free pour logs). Never advertising or promotions.
- An invitation text when a company owner invites you to join their crew, and replies to your support requests.
